My timing is a bit off this weekend. Yesterday’s skating and traffic shots were full of movement — the theme of this week’s One Word Sunday, hosted by Debbie at Travel with Intent.
Still, I think the gull qualifies.

Well caught. Love that sharp beak peeping through the blurred movement of the wings

The gull definitely qualifies! You caught at a great point in his movement – almost shrouded by his wings.

Hi eye is perfectly in focus while the wings show movement. Well done!

That works wonderfully, Su. We’re on somewhat the same page for this theme, at least in our choice of subject.

You caught the precise moment of this bird in flight. It looks like being covered by the blankets of its wings. Have a great week, Su!

I love the swoop of birds flying. I think it’s amazingly graceful and sometimes, rather funny too.

Our native pukeko (a species of swamp hen) are hilarious to watch fly. 😀

What a wonderful shot! I so love this kind of pictures 🙂 Always keep them when I get one. Another few, and I will have enough for a blog post later this spring. Absolutely love the aerodynamics of the bird’s flight. Nature at her best.
