Brian at Bushboy’s World had the wonderful idea of posting the very last photo he’d taken each month — whatever it might be and whatever the quality.

He’s invited us to join him, so if you’d like to share your last photo of April 2020, here’s what to do:

  1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 30th April.
  2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
  3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
  4. Create a Pingback to Brian’s post or link in the comments
  5. Tag “The Last Photo”

    • Thanks Darren. Me too. I’ve been manically taking cuttings from a particularly large rosemary bush that’s really in the wrong place. I think it’s too big to move, so I’m hoping I can encourage its offspring in more sensible places.

      • They can do that. Susan removed a veteran one from our tiny front garden last year and it was a good 6 feet high and wide. We have a few in the back garden so did not really feel the loss. The prostrate forms get nipped a little by frost in cold winters but the bushy ones seem indestructible. I would not want to be without Rosemary – and the bees adore it too of course.

  1. I love rosemary, just used some tonight when roasting butternut squash (and fennel seeds – delicious) my large bush died so I need to dig it out. Luckily I have another plant which is flowering now, and I must take several cuttings, just in case! I gave all my other cuttings to my son.

    • That sounds delicious. I love rosemary with squash, but hadn’t thought of adding fennel seeds!

I gave quite a few of my cuttings away too, but luckily for me, rosemary is easy to propagate. I’ve been making little jars of herb salt with the rosemary and other bits in the garden. It’s become my “go-to” seasoning for lots of things.
